Website Accessibility Audits

Whether you have received a notice from an Office of Civil Rights letting you know that your website violates website accessibility standards or you want to be proactive and assure you are providing access to everyone, you will need a website accessibility audit. With over 14 years of website development experience and a fully trained website accessibility staff, put our expertise to work for you.

What's Included in a Website Accessibility Audit?

Our auditors thoroughly review your website and provide a detailed assessment. We identify the necessary improvements required to achieve a fully accessible website that is compliant with Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines for web content.

During the audit, we use various techniques, including manual verification, assistive technology (e.g. screen readers), and disabled assistive technology users to review items including but not limited to the following:

  • We manually check things such as ensuring proper implementation of alternative text and that everything can be accessed using only the keyboard (no mouse).
  • We run automated scans to check for obvious errors.
  • We use assistive technology such as screen readers to verify all standards are met.
  • We test for content scaling up to 200% the size of the original content.

Upon completion of the audit, we will provide the following:

  • Detailed report of accessibility issues we found
  • List of criteria that do not meet guidelines
  • Recommended remediation
  • Sample Corrective Action Plan

If your organization requires additional monitoring or follow-up evaluations, we can also provide these services to ensure ongoing compliance. Please use the form below to contact us for accessibility audit pricing.
